There was so many things that wasn't going right
Although I tried to fix them, I was losing the fight
And I knew I couldn't handle it by myself
So I called on God for to come and help
And because I felt He didn't come right then
The enemy made it seem like a losing battle I was in
But I just cast him down and pushed him out of the way
Because I knew I could depend on God any day
And it really didn't matter how long I thought He would take
I knew He was an on time God and He was never late
I knew He'd come just when I need Him the most
Because this was a fact and on these truths I could boast
For I have yet to stay in a situation where God didn't through
And if He's done it for me then He'll do it for you
The enemy will truly have you whereas things are so hard
That you can't trust anyone, not even your God
He'll make you feel like you're on your own
And God didn't hear you because He left you alone
He'll make you doubt, then place God on a shelf
Because he'll have you believing you can do it by yourself
He wants you so twisted and far from the real thing
And he doesn't want you to know truth, that can set you totally free
He wants to keep you where you can never grow...
In the things of God and learn what you need to know
See, he knows that if you ever get to that point, he has to stop and quit
Because you're now a threat to his kingdom and a mighty force to be reckoned with

It's easy for a Believer in battle to think they're alone...but never. God is an ever present help in the time of nedd, trouble, trials, circumstances, etc...whatever that need is you have - God Is Right There and although we may lose some battles, you best believe that we've won the overall war.

ReplyDeleteAwesome! the ole devil is still trying to deceive us, just like he "twisted" the WORD when he beguiled EVE tempting her to eat the apple, and he is still trying to do the same to us today by twisting the WORD. BUT HEY ! we have the answers in GOD's WORD, HIS promises to us! We need to speak the promises over ourselves and claim what GOD has promised us! If we are speaking the promises out loud ... then how can we have time to listen to the lies of the devil ? ? ? ? AMEN!
