I've been your tower and I've been your strength
I'm the reason the storm clouds were sent
To try you and see how strong your faith
I need to see if in Me, you'd still stay
See, I've bragged on you and the enemy knew
That I had My hedge of protection surrounding you
And on his whim, I lowered it just to show
That throughout your trials, it's Me you'd still know
So I've watched you as you struggled through many situations
Oh how I wanted to step in, but I couldn't tamper with your foundation
It was something you had to build with your own hands
Because you needed to know that your strength was not in man
For I've called you for such a time as this
So don't let the enemy cause you to give up or quit
There are souls I've given to you today
That's why I'm validating you and doing it My way
You have a ministry and I've anointed you as well
And no, you won't fold, you won't bend or fail
I love you and I've invested gifts inside of you
Now stand until I allow them to make room for you
I haven't forgotten and I haven't left you alone
I've been there all the time and I Am the center of your home
Now praise Me because I have a work for you to complete
And you're ready now to do it because you've been set free
For I'm the only One who really knew that you paid a price
For every tear, prayer and praise, it was a sacrifice
And I appreciate you hanging in there to still serve Me even when...
You couldn't see the forest for the trees, but inwardly you knew
