When I think about Your goodness and the things You've done
It's easy blessing and praising You, My Anointed One
For when others thought my life was through
Lord, I trusted, I praised and I still worshipped You
I believed with all my heart that it was Your hand
That established me and still allowed me to stand
Lord, You stuck by me, when my whole life was being read
And You comforted me, through the shame and lies that were spread
Even in my darkest hour, when nothing was going right
You showed up and brought in light
At times I couldn't see, how I could ever be free
And I struggled for months to find the real me
But You knew where I was all along
And in my mouth, You put a new song
You even took me in Your loving arms
And rocked me and held me during the storms
Even my enemies laughed and thought that I..
Wouldn't succeed, but fall by the wayside
But they just didn't know to Whom I belong
But I knew Lord and I stayed strong...
By remaining faithful and continuing to praise...
You, even during all my storming, raining days
Because I knew what kind of God I serve
And I can't help but to worship You, because it's what You deserve
Lord, You made a way just for me
Now all will know it's Your doing, even my enemies
And people actually wonder why I praise You like I do
But if they only knew what You brought me through
Then, they'll know like I do, that You are "Lord of All"
Because You came through for me when my back was against the wall
